The Standardized Patient program is a great way to get volunteer hours in the College of Medicine by acting as a patient for medical students. Benefits include: volunteer hours that can help strengthen your medical school application; direct interaction with the College of Medicine faculty and staff, which can give insight on what to expect while attending medical school; and further your medical understanding while helping train future MDs.
