The Standardized Patient program is a great way to get volunteer hours in the College of Medicine by acting as a patient for medical students. Benefits include: volunteer hours that can help strengthen your medical school application, direct interaction with the College of Medicine faculty and staff (gives insight on what to expect while attending medical school while furthering your medical understanding and helping train future MDs). Furthermore, participants who participate for more than 40 hours per semester will have the opportunity to receive a letter of recommendation from a staff member of the College of Medicine. If you are interested in receiving information regarding attending future Standardized Patient dates, please fill out this interest form.
