New Providence Outreach Trip
The New Providence Outreach Trip gives members an opportunity to visit the Bahamas during winter break. Members will be able to gain healthcare experience in another country, as well as complete various volunteer activities. Members will visit the local hospital, as well as to conduct hypertension screenings for the Bahamian community. This trip is an excellent opportunity for AMSA members to gain valuable experience abroad!
To be eligible to become a part of this experience, you must be both a paid AMSA local and AMSA National member.
Please note that due to the COVID-19 emergency, it will be unlikely that we will be able to hold the New Providence Outreach Trip this year. We apologize for any disappointment this may cause. Please check back frequently for future updates on this trip of the Puerto Rico Outreach Trip (https://www.amsafau.com/get-involved/mission-trips/costa-rica-trip/).
