New Providence Outreach Trip

New Providence Outreach Trip

Winter Break

Want an amazing, touching experience volunteering in a second-world country? Want to solidify your decision in becoming a doctor? Want to meet new people, and build life-long friendships with your peers? Look no further, and become a part of the amazing experience of travelling to New Providence, Bahamas for the New Providence Outreach Trip!

During the trip, we offer various volunteering opportunities with Red Cross, local Bahamian children’s homes, and more. Additionally, we offer medical aspects during our trip, such as conducting hypertension screenings on Bahamian residents, and shadowing the local hospital. This allows people to gain a better understanding of the healthcare system in the Bahamas, as well as the culture.

Many of AMSA members attend this trip more than once, and can speak firsthand about how touching and fulfilling this trip was to them. We want all of our members to have this same experience, so join us now!

To be eligible to become a part of this experience, you must be an AMSA National Member (click here to become a national member). The trip dates are December 17-22, 2017, and there are only 40 spots this year available for the trip, so first come first serve!
